When a user executes a query for the first time, unless they have adjusted their user settings, the query will run with default settings. Essentially, all flow metric calculations will use the Basic Flow Map that is autogenerated when Creating a Flow Map. This Flow Map only contains mappings for Jira’s basic status values. That is, To Do, In Progress and Done.
It is highly probable that your system incorporates status values that are not present in the Basic Flow Map. As defined in Flow Metrics Now, prior to executing a query, it is critical that a user selects an appropriate workflow map from user settings. If your query returns an issue with a status that is not referenced within the Workflow Map, it will not be able to interpret the meaning of the status.
In such cases, when executing a query, Delivery Flow will notify you of encountering one or more issues with status values that are not defined in the current flow map. Please refer to the screenshot below for an illustrative example.

Navigate to user settings on the Delivery Flow Query Bar and choose the a suitable Flow Mapworkflow map.
Adjust the query to only display solely the issues with a status included in the current flow workflow map.
Reach out to the application your Jira administrator and ask to ensure that all pertinent Jira statuses are encompassed by the flow workflow map.
For further information regarding the unmapped statuses, please refer to the Calculations file accessible through the download button on the Delivery Flow Query Bar. In cases where Delivery Flow comes across an issue with an unmapped status, it will be disregarded and excluded from the calculation.
