Workflow Maps
If you’re using Jira to track work in your organisation, then you are also utilising one or multiple Jira Workflows. Each workflow defines how tasks move through a process and the statuses they can hold. You might be using Jira’s simple default workflow (Open, In Progress, Resolved, Reopened, Closed) or maybe you have created a more complex, customised workflow that better reflects your specific processes.
A Workflow Map helps Delivery Flow interpret your Jira workflows so that it can perform calculations and generate meaningful Flow Metrics using the data in your Jira projects. A map defines a sequence of work lanes or steps, assigns Jira statuses to each lane, and identifies if a lane is a working lane or a waiting lane. You can also specify where work begins and ends in the workflow.
