Flow Overview Page
Once the query has been completed and all flow calculations have been finalized, the Flow Overview page will be populated with various flow metrics, offering valuable insights into the work encompassed within the query.
Issues Processed: The total number of Jira issues retrieved by the specified query.
Issues Completed: This metric represents the number of issues within the query that have successfully progressed through the entire process to reach the end state. It is important to note that the process, starts lane and end lane are determined by the Workflow map chosen by the user in their user settings.
Average Cycle Time: The average duration for a resolved issue to progress from the start lane to the end lane as specified in the workflow diagram.
Flow Efficiency: For all completed issues, how much time was spent in a work lane expressed as a percentage of overall time taken to complete the issues. This result is dependent upon the work lane definition within the workflow map being used by the user.
Time in Flow Table: The table illustrates the duration spent in each lane within the defined process. The data is presented as a percentage of the total time elapsed. It is important to note that only completed items are factored into these computations.
Throughput Graph: The graph illustrates the quantity of items completed on a weekly basis.
Work in Progress Graph: The graph illustrates the quantity of items in flow per week. "In flow" denotes that an item has entered the process, residing in the start lane or further, but has not yet reached the finish line (end lane). If this condition holds true at any juncture within a week, it will factor into the "in flow" metric for that specific week.
Average Cycle Time Graph: The average cycle time graph represents the average duration spent in flow for all issues completed within a specific week. It indicates the average time taken for the issues to progress through the entire process.
