Favorite Filters: This option presents a dropdown menu that contains all filters that the user has marked as “favorite” in Jira. Selecting an option in the drop down will populate the Query editor with the JQL of the selected filter. There is also an option to Manage Favorite Filters in the drop-down, so that you can include or exclude specific queries if you have an excessive list of filters.
Download Options: This options presents the ability to download a csv file containing the time data for all the issues contained within the query. Alternatively, it also presents an option to download a csv file that contains the results of all the flow calculations performed by Delivery Flow. One or both files can be downloaded.
User settings: This button will present a dialog with various setting options. Most importantly, it is here where the user selects the flow map they wish to use. They can also select the number of days they wish to go back in time when doing flow calculations. This will also dictate the timeframe used in all graphs generated for the user.
Once you enter valid JQL and hit enter, Delivery Flow will retrieve the data from Jira and perform the relevant flow calculations. Once complete, the results will appear on the Flow Overview Page as shown in the next section.
