If you are utilizing Jira to manage work within your organization, you are likely employing one or multiple Jira Workflows. You may be utilizing a basic Jira workflow as illustrated below, or you may have developed a more intricate, tailored workflow that aligns more closely with your unique processes.

A Workflow Map assists Delivery Flow in interpreting your Jira workflows to conduct calculations and produce meaningful Flow Metrics based on the data in your Jira projects. The map outlines a series of work lanes or steps, associates one or more Jira statuses with each lane, and distinguishes between working lanes and waiting lanes. Additionally, you can define the starting and ending points of work measurements within the workflow.
