When the application is installed, the initial step an administrator must take is to create a new Workflow Map. To do this, simply initiate the creation of a new Workflow Map by clicking on the "New Map" button on the Workflow Maps Admin page. The Create Workflow Dialog (Figure 1) will allow you to generate a new workflow map utilizing a Jira project as a foundation. It will propose a name for the workflow map, which you can modify as needed. Choose a project as a template, assign a name to your workflow map, and then proceed to click on the Create button.

Subsequently, a new map will be generated, ready for your modifications. This map will be automatically selected and displayed on the screen, as illustrated in Figure 2 below.

This simple map consists of three steps or lanes. The interface clearly presents the name of each lane, specifies whether it is a work lane, displays the Jira statuses linked to each lane, and indicates the starting and ending lanes in the workflow. Each status is accompanied by its respective project key. For statuses related to company-managed projects, the key will be labeled as Company. In this instance, Delivery Flow has established a lane for every Jira status within the TEAM project. The sequence of lanes and the initial work, start, and end lane designations are dictated by Jira status categories and the chronological order in which the original Jira statuses were generated. If the generated Workflow Map does not meet your specific requirements, you must edit and adjust it accordingly.
